With over two decades of experience in competitive public relations and political campaigns, Chris Marsh is an expert in managing complex challenges and winning tough battles. His decade-long tenure in the California State Legislature has provided him with a deep understanding of local, state, and national policy landscapes – an invaluable asset for Swing’s clients navigating California’s intricate regulatory environment.

As a key leader at Swing Strategies, Chris has worked with a diverse portfolio of Fortune 500 clients, including Disneyland Resorts, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and Marriott Hotels. He has also advised statewide and national organizations such as the California Alliance of Family Owned Businesses, the California Hotel & Lodging Association, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Chris has successfully delivered election victories and public relations wins for clients, most notably securing the unanimous passage of the $2.9 billion DisneylandForward expansion project in the City of Anaheim.

Before joining Swing Strategies, Chris played a pivotal role in numerous state and congressional campaigns. His experience includes consulting on statewide voter registration initiatives and providing strategic guidance on redistricting efforts.

Chris attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. A North County San Diego native, he currently resides in Encinitas, where, when not in the offices or out in the field, he can often be found surfing or pursuing his passion for international travel – having visited over 30 countries, with many more still on his list.
